The CFOne Card
Cadets are part of the wider Canadian Forces community, and the CFOne card is one way that community recognizes them. Current cadets aged 12 to 18 are eligible to apply and can use the card for discounts, rewards and other eligible CFOne benefits.
THE CARD
What a cadet gets
The CFOne card is the membership card of the Canadian Forces community, administered by Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). For cadets, it provides access to eligible member discounts and rewards and identifies them as part of the wider Canadian military community.
CANEX rewards
CFOne members can access eligible CANEX member benefits and earn CANEX CF One Rewards.
Community recognition
The card recognizes eligible cadets as members of the Canadian Forces community for CFOne programs and benefits.
STEP ONE
Save the cadet token
CFMWS requires cadets to provide proof of their relationship to the Canadian military community. For cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers, the accepted proof is the digital token supplied by their instructor. Save the ticket below to your device so it is ready when the registration process asks for proof.
STEP BY STEP
How to apply
The application is completed online. Because it asks for personal information, younger cadets may want to complete it with a parent or guardian.
- Open the official Become a CF One Member page and select Join CF One now!
- Select the affiliation options that identify the applicant as a Cadet within the eligible defence community.
- Enter the cadet's requested personal information.
- When asked for proof of relationship, upload the cadet digital token saved from this page.
- Enter the mailing and contact information requested by CFMWS.
- Review the rewards/preferences and privacy information, then submit the application.

Before you apply
Cadet eligibilityCurrent Sea, Army and Air Cadets aged 12–18 are eligible.
Card expiryA cadet card expires on the 19th birthday or three years after issue, whichever comes first.
ProofCFMWS lists the digital token supplied by the cadet's instructor as the proof document for Cadets and JCR.
ProcessingCFMWS currently advises that applications may take longer than usual to process.
