What is the Air Cadet Program?

The Royal Canadian Air Cadet program is a federally sponsored youth program for Canadians aged 12 to 18, with squadrons in communities from coast to coast.

The program develops aviation knowledge, leadership, physical fitness, and good citizenship. Cadets participate in ground school, drill, marksmanship, effective speaking, fitness activities, community service and flying opportunities such as gliding and familiarization flights.

No military obligation. Cadets are not enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces, and joining does not obligate a cadet or family to military service.

Step 1 — Create an account

Go to the Cadet Online Registration website and create an account for your child.

Step 2 — Select our squadron

During registration, search for and select “773 Richibucto, Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron” from the list.

Step 3 — Complete your registration

Once your registration is submitted, to complete the online registration, you must follow the link that was sent to your email. After this, a member from our squadron will reach out with next steps.
